Please be aware of the following planned maintenance window for generator maintenance at the Coventry datacentre. This notification is for all customers.
Planned Generator Maintenance:
24th April – 10:30 – 15:30
25th April – 09:30 – 14:30
WHAT
As part of a planned upgrade process to the generator systems, engineers are going to be installing new generator sets into the Coventry datacentre.
WHEN
Work is scheduled to be carried out during the following maintenance window:
Monday 24th April 2017, commencing at 10:30 GMT and ending by 15:30 GMT.
Tuesday 25th April 2017, commencing at 09:30 GMT and ending by 14:30 GMT.
The “At Risk” window will be kept to an absolute minimum and the redundant power systems will be returned to full resilience at the earliest opportunity.
SERVICE IMPACT
None – There will be no planned service impact, this is an advisory note, backup power will remain available at all times during this maintenance.
However, as with all work of this nature, there needs to be an “At Risk” notification sent out.
The maintenance will be completed by a specialist 3rd party and complete power protection will be restored upon completion of the maintenance.
WHY
This work is being carried out as the first part of a two stage process to improve redundancy of power systems at the Coventry datacentre.
